Schumacher & Co, was created by Frederic Schumacher in 1889, and since then has brought magnificient quality and unique design options for truly unique environments; places where only the finest products will do; places such as the White House, the Supreme Court, the San Francisco Opera House, and world-class hotels such as the Waldorf-Astoria, the Ritz-Carlton, the Vanderbilt Hotel, among others.

Today, this fifth generation family company, F. Schumacher & Co, is proudly the only privately-owned textile and wallcovering supplier that has been run by descendants of its founder.

Schumacher was among the first American companies to participate in the Exposicion Universelle in París, establishing itself as a pioneer in modern art and design in the American market, and making way for its leadership in the design of interiors.
