First Arrivals of 2009 Nostalgia Textiles Collection

Nostalgia is proud to announce the first arrivals of the 2009 In-Stock Textile Collection. Straight from houses and mills up and down the Americas as well as Europe we will see a distinctive evolution of what hit the design industry last year. While 2008 was the year of metallics, blacks & whites, contrasted by a surge in naturals, as well as browns and robin's egg blues, 2009 seems to follow permutations of this trend.

But perhaps most exciting feature of 2009 will be lower prices. With recession hitting trendsetting designer houses in North America and Europe we will be seeing fabrics in price ranges never seen before, a trend which for the Panamanian client will represent a tremendous value.

Linens and Embroidered Linens

Among the most exciting aspects of the 2009 collection is the growth of natural fibers. We are especially excited with resonance of color and depth of incoming embroidered linens, as pictured on the above right.

Silks

A strength of Nostalgia has always been its focus on in-stock silks. Now more than ever expect for silks to come in a big way. The latest shipment, as pictured on the right, show a collection of silk prints with watercolor-like designs.

Modern

2008 saw modern and minimalism surge in a big way, something we were prepared for with our robust collection of geometrics and metallics. However, our 2009 collection will focus on a whole new batch of exciting modern trends.

Botanicals, Animals, Tropicals

For beach, or mountain homes, or those wanting something natural to compliment their home in the tropics- botanicals have been a popular choice. Something once limited to our Kravet cut-order section, Nostalgia will be bringing botanicals, animals and tropicals to our warehouse in the course of 2009.

Looking Forward

As the year advances, all the way through the third quarter of the year, Nostalgia will be having fabrics arriving on a monthly. Come join us in seeing what's new in the interior design world.
